Engineering X, a collaboration between the UK Royal Academy of Engineering and Lloyd’s Register Foundation, is seeking expressions of interest for participation in the Safer End of Life of Offshore Wind workshop on 16-17 May 2024 in Central London, UK. The workshop will bring together global stakeholders from across sectors to consider how to make the end of life of offshore wind safer and more sustainable. Discussions will focus on three key topics:
- Technology and infrastructure
- Circularity
- Regulation

To ensure a meaningful workshop that will move the offshore wind sector forward globally in terms of safety at end of life, the right combination of diverse stakeholders is needed. We are therefore asking those interested in participating to please fill in the following short expression of interest form.
Please note that:
- Engineering X will cover all reasonable costs to support your participation, including travel, accommodation, subsistence, and any access requirements. Please get in touch to discuss these needs if you are unsure.
- Participant selection will be made to ensure good representation of all groups.
- Expression of interest does not guarantee a place.
- Selection will be made on a rolling basis until 20 March.
- Successful participants will hear from us by early April. We will not be contacting unsuccessful expressions of interest.
