What does your project involve?
This project aims to develop local engineering and design skills for the development, implementation, and maintenance of a sustainable micro-electro-mobility (SMEM) transport network in the city of Querétaro. This initiative is part of a macro-project to promote the massive adoption of electric mobility in the state of Querétaro and has started with a feasibility study for SMEM transport in the city. With its rapid economic and population growth, transportation and mobility have gained significant importance in our city.
How are you using an inclusive approach in your project?
Our project addresses global issues like mobility, sustainability, climate change, and digitalisation. By integrating a wide range of local stakeholders, we have made the project more relevant, built a supportive network, and adapted our initiatives to the specific needs and challenges of Querétaro.
Which stakeholders have actively participated in this project, and what benefits have they brought to its progress and outcomes?
Instructors, universities, and the government have shown keen interest in using new digital technologies to improve mobility and transportation. By incorporating these technologies into our project, we not only make it more relevant but also ensure that our target audience easily understands its importance.
We have also invited cyclists, mobility activists, entrepreneurs, and university students, creating a space for collaboration. Their involvement goes beyond broad social impact—it provides us with invaluable insights. We learn from their experiences, shaping our content and fine-tuning our value proposition – ensuring relevance of the project. This iterative process has allowed us to validate our approach and address field-specific challenges by incorporating feedback received from stakeholders.
